RTA announces traffic plan for Dubai World Cup
The event will be taking place on March 31.
The Roads and Transport Authority RTA in Dubai posted on their twitter handle the traffic plan for Saturday, March 31, as per the Dubai World Cup tournament at the Meydan Racecourse.
The plan will be in place tomorrow, from 3pm till 12am.
As per the post, 50 buses will be available to transport fans from Meydan Racecourse to Burj Khalifa and Deira City Centre Metro Stations.
The RTA designated 5,000 parking spaces near Nad Al Sheba mosque for the event. 100 buses will be slated for transporting people from Nad Al Sheba mosque parking to the Meydan Racecourse.
6,000 parking spaces will be made available at Meydan Racecourse for event parking cardholders.
For further transportation needs, 4,000 taxis will provide easy personal shuttle service to attendees of the event.
