Yogafest Dubai Media City Amphitheatre is the al fresco location for this year’s Yogafest long weekend, which takes place from 15-17 November with a jam-packed schedule of free-to-attend yoga sessions, meditation circles and yoga-related activities for fans of all ages. The festival begins on Thursday evening in the meditation tent, and continues with two full days of sessions led by some of Dubai’s best-known yoga and meditation practitioners along with visiting guest teachers. Healthy food and exciting retail spaces round out this holistic weekend festival.
DP World Tour Championship 2018 The DP World Tour Championship, one of the biggest events in Dubai’s sporting calendar, is back for its tenth edition from the 15-18 November. Part of the European Tour, and the thrilling climax to the European Tour Race to Dubai, this golfing tournament has seen some of the world’s best golfers competing here in the UAE, with past winners including Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm. The tournament has a prize fund of $8,000,000, and you can expect some tense scenes when the athletes battle it out on the course to take home the trophy.
The region’s leading education show The Gulf Education and Training Exhibition, or GETEX, returns from 14-16 November. The event is a chance for schools, colleges and educational institutes to reach out to Dubai’s aspiring students, and for students to learn about what educational opportunities are available. Each year, the exhibition attracts more than 35,000 students, and GETEX focuses on all aspects of education, from residential schools to student counselling. The three-day event also features a Counsellors Forum, for Counsellors to meet and learn from fellow professionals. There will also be a line-up of seminars led by representatives from local and international schools, covering everything from children’s healthcare to Master’s Degree programs.
Middle East Organic & Natural Products Expo The only event of its kind in the Middle East The Middle East Organic & Natural Products Expo is the only dedicated trade fair of its kind in the region. International and regional companies will be showcasing more than two thousand of their latest products and services. All sorts of organic and natural products are represented at the event, with sectors dedicated to food and beverages, beauty, the environment, and more. The event has been running for the past fifteen years, and last year’s event saw more than 6000 visitors. Attendees can expect three days of networking opportunities with fellow professionals, as well as educational sessions, talks, and seminars led by international experts.

University of Dubai-hosted conference returns to the emirate Organised by the Centre for Research & Consultancy at University of Dubai in collaboration with Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry and an academic consortia of 21 UAE based and AACSB/EQUIS accredited international universities, the second annual International Conference on Advances in in Business, Management & Law offers five conference tracks, networking opportunities and an awards programme. Delegates will hear from experts in various fields covering a wide-ranging cross-section of industry sectors and topics from entrepreneurship, leadership, law and Islamic finance to marketing, e-commerce, supply chain, big data and innovation. The Big 5. The Middle East’s largest building and construction exhibition The Big 5, the International Building & Construction Show, returns to Dubai World Trade Centre this November, for its 39th edition. The exhibition showcases the five key sectors of the building industry – MEP services, building interiors and finishes, building envelope and special construction, construction tools and building materials, and construction technology and innovation. Attendees will learn about the latest trends and innovations in the building industry and source new products, with live demonstrations and more than 2600 exhibitors from around the world. Over the course of the four-day event, visitors will be able to network with architects, builders, interior designers, contractors, and other industry professionals.

Sole DXB returns later this year for its sixth edition. The event is a celebration of street culture, encompassing everything from fashion and music to art and sport. It started out back in 2012, as a one-day event dedicated to sneakers, but has grown and grown since then, playing host to film premieres, art exhibitions, concerts, and more. Some of the world’s biggest brands have taken part in past events, including Adidas, Nike, Fred Perry, Stussy, and more. Attendees have also been able to see artists such as Skepta, Kano, and Mobb Deep take to the stage, as well as a line-up of Dubai-based bands and DJs. The dates and price of tickets for this year’s event are yet to be announced, but keep an eye on this space for more details.
Dubai Muscle Show The region’s leading fitness and bodybuilding show Dubai Muscle Show is the Middle East’s leading international fitness and bodybuilding show. The exhibition is the best place for fitness enthusiasts to meet with some of the stars of the industry and get expert advice, as well as learn about the latest services and trends. There’ll also be competitions, giveaways, and live demonstrations of new products. The two-day event will also feature a line-up of competitions and tournaments in boxing, bodybuilding, mixed martial arts, and more. There are more than 600 athletes expected to attend from all over the world, including Eddie Hall, the winner of last year’s World’s Strongest Man contest.
China Homelife Dubai The exhibition of Chinese businesses returns for its ninth edition China Homelife is the largest trade fair for Chinese businesses, and it’s set to return to Dubai this December. The event is held annually in cities around the world, including Johannesburg, Mexico, and Warsaw, and the Dubai event attracts visitors from across the Middle East. This year’s event will focus on nine separate product segments: agriculture and food; building materials; consumer electronics; furniture; home appliances; textiles and garments; home products; gifts; and lights and lamps. Visitors can expect to find more than 50,000 of the latest products and innovations from more than 2500 suppliers. The event is an ideal opportunity for importers, traders and buyers to meet with manufacturers and source products directly from them.
