Dubai World Cup
The Dubai World Cup is an annual horse race in Dubai which is held at the Meydan Racecourse. Founded in 1996, the event was created through the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The Dubai World Cup provides a truly global stage upon which the best horses in the world come to compete and has established itself as one of the most important events in the international horse racing calendar. Each year, UAE residents and visiting guests from around the world flock to the state-of-the-art Meydan grandstand to catch all of the exciting equestrian action.
