On 7 November, Dubai Miracle Garden opens its doors for its sixth season. As the world’s largest natural flower garden, it’s home to more than 100 million blooming flowers. Last year it broke several world records when it unveiled a full-size replica of an Emirates A380 plane. The park was closed in the summer months, but has been renovated for the new season. The park is full of one-of-a-kind floral displays and attractions including a floral clock, peacocks, an aromatic garden, and the Dubai Butterfly Garden, the world’s largest butterfly garden and sanctuary. Over the winter months, the garden is set to attract thousands of visitors.
Get the whole family together and head to this new open-air market in Dubai Marina, taking place every Friday evening. Browse the stalls and find everything from jewellery and clothes to flowers and home décor, as well as homemade items. There’s also entertainment for the kids, so you keep them happy while you shop, with clowns, mascots and henna. If you work up an appetite while you’re shopping, you can also find stalls selling popcorn and candy floss, along with other snacks.
